The Blanca Terra winery, as sponsor of Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma, today hosted the official presentation of the Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma 2021/22.
A ceremony in which authorities and main sponsors of the club have been present in a ceremony in which after presenting Matías Ximelis ‘official speaker’ of the club, one by one to the players of the team, Guillermo Boscana, president of CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín, thanked the attendees for their presence, reiterating in his words to the press the change of direction given by the club last year “due to the situation caused by the COVID19” and which made all those present experience “a more than exciting season”. Boscana recalled in his speech the play-off against Río Breogán, the team that finally climbed to the Endesa League.The president of the Palma club underlined his intention to recover “the social mass that we had two seasons ago” and also asked for the support of the fans for the players of a team that will start a new season on Sunday, the eighth consecutive in LEB Gold and the most special due to the return of the fans and the return of the single group in the category.
Afterwards, Vicenç Palmer, general manager of Palmer Alma Mediterránea, the team’s main sponsor, took the floor. He also thanked Guillermo Boscana himself, pointing out, in words addressed to the team, the “emotion and pride” that it means for his family that the name of Palmer Alma Mediterránea is on their jerseys. “The fans are going to come out en masse to support you and you have already shown that you are going to give your all on the court”, said Vicenç Palmer.
Carles Gonyalons, General Director of Sports of the Balearic Government, closed the event by wishing Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma many successes and good luck this season, also highlighting the work that the CB Imprenta Bahía San Agustín does at the grassroots level “and that is something that we as the Government support one hundred percent”, said Gonyalons.
After the presentation of the team, the players of Palmer Alma Mediterránea Palma, the board of directors of the Mallorcan club and those attending the event enjoyed a small snack at the reception of the winery.
